A large and peaceful political protest unfolded in downtown Seattle this afternoon, as hundreds of demonstrators filled 2nd Avenue with chants, banners, and unified calls for change. The event began around 3:30 PM, drawing a diverse mix of participants advocating for a variety of social justice and political reform issues.

Organized as a non-violent march, the demonstration showcased Seattle’s deep-rooted tradition of civic activism. Protesters carried handmade signs and vocalized frustrations over past federal leadership, as well as current policy concerns impacting both local and national communities.

The demonstration remained peaceful throughout and garnered attention from onlookers, local media, and community leaders.

Seattle police maintained a minimal presence, and there were no reported arrests or disturbances. Organizers emphasized unity, dialogue, and the importance of freedom of expression in a democratic society.

The event adds to Seattle’s history of public engagement and highlights the city’s continued role as a center for political advocacy and social movements.
