Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce released a new poll which shows large support from majority of Seattle voters for the closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. This support also extends to the regular police patrols where majority of said supporters also express low confidence in the city leadership’s handling of public safety, according to survey results released Monday.

The survey reveals great concern for neighborhood safety. While support for public safety has spread across different margins, public trust in the local government remains low.

The survey was conducted between the dates of August 10th – 13th 2026 by Fulcrum Strategy Group. It interviewed 500 registered Seattle voters. 75% of voters support expanding public safety CCTV camera programs. 90% of voters support regular foot and bicycle patrols in problem areas like little Saignon.

It also carried out survey on more areas such as drug enforcement & shelter, open-air markets, park encampment bans, juvenile gun laws etc
