Five early-stage Seattle startups are developing artificial intelligence-powered platforms addressing markets ranging from project management to nonprofit ticketing and insurance automation.

CodeChimp

Founded in 2025, CodeChimp offers a project management platform using multi-agent orchestration and AI tools to transform “vibe coding” into a multiplayer experience. The company, originally known as Bili, recently joined the latest Plug and Play cohort in Seattle, providing code generation, reviews, and automated testing for developers.

CEO Sylviane Zhao recently graduated from Cornell University. Co-founders Tehani Cabour and Shawn Yang previously worked at French software company Dassault Systèmes.

EvolvArts

Founded in 2024, EvolvArts provides CRM software designed for nonprofit arts organizations, handling donor development, ticketing, marketing, communications, class registration, and tuition. The bootstrapped company describes itself as “Ticketmaster for the performing arts” and serves approximately 20 customers.

CEO Christopher Lin was a principal engineer at Numbers Station AI and research scientist at Meta. Co-founder Max Thayer was a founding member of Anker US and led business development at e-commerce agency Oceanwing.

Rem

Founded in 2024, Rem operates an AI-powered operating system for insurance distribution automating commission tracking and reconciliation, initially targeting healthcare agents and carriers. The company raised a pre-seed round from AI2 Incubator and other investors.

CEO Jorge Banuelos previously served as head of core prediction at Opendoor and held data science managerial roles at Meta and Microsoft. Co-founder and CTO Zhongxia Zhou was an engineering manager at Opendoor and Compass.

Simsola

Founded in 2024, Simsola provides an AI training platform built on developmental psychology frameworks helping leaders improve communication, coordination, and collaboration. The company partners with training providers to convert frameworks into AI simulations and coaching tools. Simsola has raised $1 million and generates revenue.

CEO Tammy Wang held data science leadership roles at Korn Ferry and Riviera Partners and served as senior director at Zillow. Co-founder Dr. Zachary Van Rossum is an organizational psychologist and adjunct assistant professor at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Vergent

Founded in 2025, Vergent is developing an SDK for spatial AI reasoning and memory, enabling LLMs to answer questions about 3D space with high accuracy. The pre-launch company has not generated revenue but recently won a pitch event at AI House in Seattle.

CEO Benjamin Liang and CTO Andrew Liang were founding AI engineers at decentralized deepfake detection startup BitMind. The twin brothers both studied computer science at NYU where they co-authored computer vision and graphics research.

The startups represent Seattle’s expanding AI ecosystem, with founders applying machine learning and large language models to solve problems in enterprise software, nonprofit management, insurance technology, and spatial computing.
