Four teenagers from Seattle have been arrested in connection with a shooting during an armed robbery at a northeast Portland gas station, with investigators alleging the group was involved in several other violent crimes across the city.

Portland police said the suspects, all juveniles, were taken into custody following a SWAT operation after detectives connected them to Friday’s robbery at a 76 gas station on Northeast Broadway. During the incident, an employee was shot multiple times while struggling with one of the suspects and was hospitalized with critical injuries. Authorities said the victim is expected to survive.

The investigation also linked the teens to a series of armed robberies, a carjacking, menacing incidents and other assaults that occurred earlier in the week. Detectives recovered multiple firearms, including so-called “ghost guns,” while executing search warrants related to the case.

The suspects are expected to face multiple charges, including attempted murder, robbery, assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Police said the investigation remains active and additional charges or arrests could follow as detectives continue reviewing evidence.
