A man was found dead in a bullet-riddled vehicle Wednesday night in Boulevard Park, an unincorporated area just south of Seattle’s South Park neighborhood.

King County sheriff’s deputies responded around 9:45 p.m. to the 9600 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive South after receiving 911 calls reporting gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a man with fatal gunshot wounds inside a white car.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Images from the location show extensive bullet damage along the driver’s side of the vehicle, with holes visible from the hood to the windshield.

The shooting occurred near the Sea Mar Museum of Chicano/a/Latino/a Culture in the Boulevard Park area. King County Sheriff’s spokesperson Brandyn Hull confirmed that no suspects have been taken into custody.

The extensive bullet damage suggests a targeted attack rather than random violence, though investigators have not released details about potential motives or whether the incident connects to other criminal activity in the region.

Boulevard Park sits between Seattle and suburban Des Moines as an unincorporated area of King County. The shooting adds to ongoing safety concerns in South King County communities that experience periodic violent incidents.

The King County Sheriff’s Office continues investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting while working to identify suspects. The department handles law enforcement for unincorporated areas throughout the county, including Boulevard Park and surrounding communities.

The incident occurred along Des Moines Memorial Drive South, a major arterial that serves both local residents and regional traffic through the area.
