Authorities are looking into a violent incident that occurred Monday evening in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood, where a man was stabbed during an altercation.

Seattle police said officers were dispatched around 5:05 p.m. to the intersection of 3rd Avenue and James Street following reports of a fight. When officers arrived, they discovered an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the head.

According to witness accounts, the victim had been involved in a confrontation just moments before the stabbing took place. Officers administered immediate aid until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived on the scene. The man was then transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

Despite receiving medical attention, the victim declined to cooperate with investigators and refused to provide details about the incident.

As of now, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
