More than 100 women have filed a lawsuit accusing former Tri-Cities OB-GYN Dr. Mark Mulholland of sexual abuse, medical negligence, and performing unauthorized medical procedures.
The lawsuit, filed in King County, also names Providence and Kadlec Regional Medical Center, alleging the healthcare systems ignored years of complaints from patients and staff and allowed Mulholland to continue treating women.
Several women claim routine gynecological exams became traumatic experiences, alleging Mulholland made inappropriate sexual comments, and conducted unauthorized procedures, violating professional boundaries during appointments.
Attorney Tamara Holder, who represents more than 100 women in the case, argues the alleged misconduct continued for years because healthcare administrators failed to act despite repeated complaints. The lawsuit seeks to hold both the physician and the hospital systems accountable for what plaintiffs describe as systemic failures to protect patients.
Mulholland is no longer employed by Kadlec and has been barred from treating female patients since 2025 while disciplinary proceedings continue. A hearing on his medical license is scheduled for early 2027.
