A motorcycle rider was killed as a result of a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning near Mukilteo, prompting a temporary closure of all southbound lanes of State Route 525, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The collision happened around 7 a.m. near Beverly Park Road. Emergency crews and state troopers responded as investigators worked to determine what led to the crash. The roadway was closed during the investigation, causing traffic disruptions in the area.
