Road Rage Incident in Seattle Leaves Two Injured and One Facing Assault Charges

Two individuals were injured on Sunday afternoon after a traffic confrontation in Seattle that turned violent.

Around 2:12 p.m., Seattle Police responded to reports of a physical altercation at the intersection of Fourth Avenue North and Raye Street. According to the victim, he was sitting in his car while the suspect approached him. Authorities said a verbal dispute followed, and while the victim’s car window was down, the suspect assaulted the victim by punching him in the face multiple times.

The victim, in self-defense, pulled out a knife while he was still seated in his car. As the suspect continued throwing punches into the car, his left arm got sliced against the blade.

Both parties remained at the scene until officers and firefighters arrived to administer medical aid. The victim sustained minor facial injuries, while the suspect suffered a deep cut to his bicep. However, he refused to be taken to the hospital. He was interviewed by police, released on-site, and is now facing assault charges.
