Seattle police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the January 26 homicide at Baker Park, further advancing the ongoing investigation into the deadly incident.

According to a report from the Seattle Police Department (SPD), a 16-year-old has been taken into custody and is facing charges related to the case. The arrest was carried out on Tuesday through a coordinated effort involving homicide detectives, the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, and the U.S. Marshals.

The teenage suspect was transported to the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center, where they are being held on suspicion of murder, SPD confirmed.

This latest development follows the arrest of a previous suspect, indicating that law enforcement is making significant progress in piecing together the events surrounding the fatal shooting. As the investigation unfolds, authorities are expected to release further details that could provide a clearer picture of what transpired at Baker Park that night.

Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
