Seattle police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot and killed in the Lake City neighborhood Friday night.
Neighbors reported hearing gunshots after 8 p.m. and found a man lying in the street. Seattle Fire medics tried to save him, but he died at the scene. No suspect information has been released, and it’s unclear what led to the shooting.
Detectives are calling it an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Seattle Police Department’s tip line at 206-233-5000.
