Seattle police arrested 10 individuals and seized substantial quantities of illicit substances, a firearm, and cash during a targeted narcotics operation in the Belltown and Little Saigon neighborhoods on March 10.

The operation, conducted by officers from the West Precinct and detectives with the Narcotics Unit, focused on high-activity areas along Third Avenue and Bell Street. Law enforcement recovered fentanyl, crack cocaine, and a significant amount of cash during the raids. In a notable incident, while officers were making an arrest, a suspect approached one of the officers and attempted to exchange crack cocaine for a cigarette. This individual was also taken into custody.

The heightened police presence continued along 12th Avenue South, where additional arrests occurred near the intersection of 12th Avenue South and South Weller Street. At approximately 7 p.m., officers witnessed a man and a woman engaged in a transaction, exchanging a white powdery substance for cash. Both suspects were arrested, and authorities recovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, and more cash during the operation.

In total, the operation resulted in 10 arrests, including three individuals wanted on felony warrants. Over 259 grams of narcotics were seized, along with more than $1,900 in cash and a firearm that had its serial number removed.
