SEATTLE — The much-anticipated cruise season is about to set sail in Seattle, marking the start of a vibrant season of tourism and economic growth for the city.

On Saturday, the Norwegian Bliss will make its maiden voyage of the year, embarking on the popular Seattle-to-Alaska route. This marks the beginning of what is expected to be a bustling season, with 298 scheduled sailings that are projected to generate nearly $900 million in economic impact for the region.

In addition to the return of popular cruise lines, the Port of Seattle is excited to announce the addition of three new cruise lines that will call Seattle their home port over the next two seasons. This expansion reflects the growing appeal of Seattle as a prime departure point for cruises.

This June, Cunard Line’s iconic Queen Elizabeth will make its debut homeport season in Seattle, further elevating the city’s status as a key player in the global cruise industry.
