A coordinated drug sting operation by Seattle Police in the Belltown and Little Saigon neighborhoods resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal narcotics, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The crackdown, which took place on Monday evening, was conducted by patrol officers in collaboration with the department’s Narcotics Unit in response to growing community concerns over escalating drug activity in the area.

During the operation, authorities recovered 35.5 grams of fentanyl, 42 grams of crack cocaine, and 9.2 grams of methamphetamine. Officers also seized $1,500 in cash and impounded two vehicles pending search warrants. At the time of reporting, no timeline had been provided regarding when the vehicles would be searched.

Among those apprehended was a 21-year-old fugitive from California wanted on drug-related charges involving dangerous narcotics.

The enforcement effort was not without incident. Three officers sustained minor injuries during one of the arrests, underscoring the inherent dangers faced by law enforcement during high-risk operations.

All recovered items were processed and logged as evidence to support upcoming legal proceedings. The Seattle Police Department confirmed that the suspects will face charges with the aid of Narcotics Unit detectives, as part of the city’s continued effort to combat drug trafficking and improve safety in vulnerable neighborhoods.

This latest operation is part of an ongoing initiative by Seattle police to disrupt the illegal drug trade and address quality-of-life concerns raised by residents and business owners in some of the city’s most impacted communities.
