Seattle police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred late Sunday night at a nightclub in the city’s historic Pioneer Square district. The attack happened during a private event and has added to growing concerns about nightlife safety in the area.
According to the Seattle Police Department, officers responded to the 100 block of South Washington Street around 11:30 p.m. following reports of a violent altercation. At the scene, they discovered two men suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the stabbings took place during a private gathering inside the nightclub. The circumstances that led up to the attack remain unclear, and no arrests have been made as of Monday morning.
The incident is part of a broader trend of recent violence in Pioneer Square, including a deadly double shooting earlier this year that left one man dead and a woman injured. Business owners and residents are once again calling for increased patrols and stronger public safety measures in the neighborhood.
