Seattle police are actively investigating a shooting that left a 39-year-old man seriously injured late Sunday night in the Queen Anne neighborhood.

According to authorities, officers responded shortly after 10 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven located on Nickerson Street. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his legs, abdomen, and right arm.

Seattle Police Department Detective Brian Pritchard said officers immediately administered emergency aid, including applying tourniquets, until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Preliminary witness accounts indicate that a white Dodge sedan entered the parking lot with three individuals inside. The occupants reportedly engaged the victim in a brief exchange that escalated into a confrontation. Two of the individuals then allegedly opened fire before fleeing the scene in the vehicle. As of late Sunday night, the suspects remained at large.

Seattle Police cordoned off the area and conducted a detailed investigation, collecting evidence including clothing found on site. Multiple units remained at the scene for several hours.

No additional information has been released at this time. The case remains under active investigation.
