Professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71.

Emergency crews responded early Thursday morning to his home in Clearwater, Florida, following a report of cardiac arrest. Paramedics and multiple police units arrived at the scene, and Hogan was transported by stretcher to a nearby hospital.

In recent weeks, speculation had surfaced about Hogan’s health, but his wife had publicly stated that he was not in a coma and that his heart remained strong as he continued recovering from previous surgeries.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, became a global icon in the world of wrestling during the 1980s and 90s, known for his charisma, signature moves, and larger-than-life persona. His influence helped shape professional wrestling into a mainstream spectacle and entertainment powerhouse.

Further details surrounding his passing have not yet been released. Fans around the world are mourning the loss of one of wrestling’s most iconic figures.
