Seattle Fleet Week 2025 kicks off Tuesday, July 29, bringing military ships, public tours, maritime exhibits, and special performances to the city’s waterfront as part of the annual Seafair festivities.

The week begins with the traditional Parade of Ships through Elliott Bay, featuring vessels from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Seattle Fire Department. The parade is scheduled for around 1 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a Coast Guard search and rescue demonstration. Ships will dock at Pier 46 and remain there for public access through the weekend.

Free Ship Tours and Displays at Pier 46

Starting Thursday, July 31, and running through Sunday, August 3, visitors can tour military vessels and view exhibits at both Pier 46 and USCG Base Seattle from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Ship tours will feature personnel from the Navy and Coast Guard, offering an up-close look at maritime operations and equipment.

Access to ship tours will require a government-issued REAL ID. Maritime and defense-related organizations, including the U.S. Marine Corps and Puget Sound Navy Museum, will host interactive displays such as artillery demonstrations, a Humvee exhibit, a military working dog showcase, and more.

Additional Fleet Week Highlights

Fleet Week participants will also be recognized during the Seattle Mariners game on Sunday at T-Mobile Park, when the Mariners host the Texas Rangers.

Navy Band Northwest is set to perform at the Seafair Weekend Festival main stage on Friday, August 1, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.

Fleet Week has been a Seafair tradition since 1950, honoring military service members and offering the public a closer look at naval and maritime operations. Events are free and open to the public.
