The Seattle Seahawks have unveiled a 2026 NFL schedule that includes six prime-time appearances, five of them at home at Lumen Field, and opens with a Super Bowl LX rematch against the New England Patriots on a Wednesday night to kick off the season.
The unusual Wednesday opener is a result of the NFL scheduling the San Francisco 49ers against the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, 10 September, pushing Seattle’s first game to the night before. From there, the Seahawks will play on every day of the week except Tuesday across the 18-week regular season. FOX 13 will televise at least nine Seattle games.
The Seahawks and Rams, arguably the two best teams in the NFL last season, will not meet until Christmas Day before facing each other again in the regular season finale in Los Angeles one week later.

Here is the full prime-time and notable game schedule:
Week 1 — Wednesday, 9 September vs. New England Patriots (Super Bowl LX rematch, prime-time, Lumen Field)
Week 3 — vs. Washington Commanders, 10 a.m. kickoff
Week 6 — Thursday, 15 October at Denver Broncos (Thursday Night Football)
Week 8 — Monday Night Football vs. Chicago Bears (Lumen Field)
Week 10 — vs. Las Vegas Raiders (first regular season game in Las Vegas ahead of bye week)
Week 11 — Bye week
Week 13 — Monday Night Football vs. Dallas Cowboys (Lumen Field)
Week 16 — Saturday, 19 December at Philadelphia Eagles
Week 17 — Friday, 25 December vs. Los Angeles Rams (Christmas Day, Lumen Field); also vs. Carolina Panthers, 10 a.m. kickoff
Week 18 — Regular season finale at Los Angeles Rams
The Seahawks’ bye week falls in Week 11, following their first-ever regular season game in Las Vegas against the Raiders. With five of their six prime-time games at home, Seattle’s schedule sets up Lumen Field as one of the most high-profile venues in the league this season.
