Seattle Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man inside a Northgate business on Saturday, as the victim’s community mourns the loss of a man known to everyone around him as “Q.”

Officers were called to the Growler Guys in the 8500 block of Lake City Way Northeast on 9 May, where they found the victim dead from gunshot wounds. Following an investigation by the Homicide Unit, detectives located the suspect and took him into custody. He has been booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of murder.

Loved ones have identified the victim as Quusa Margarsa. Police have not yet released a motive for the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Violent Crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000. Anonymous tips are accepted.
